The Department of Oral Diagnosis & Medicine is the prime most branch of Dentistry as it deals with diagnosis of diseases related to Oral & maxillofacial Region.
It is the first most department to where every patient visits. Some diseases of Oral Cavity like ulcers, various red & white lesions etc. & conditions like OSMF are treated here. Patient requiring treatment like RCT extraction, periodontal therapy. Surgical intervention etc are referred to other departments as per their need.
