The Subject of Orak & Maxillofacial Pathology deals with the study of the physiology & pathology of the tissue pertaining to the oral region.

The Department of Oral Pathology consist of Academic & Clinical section.

Academic Section:

This Section deals with teaching of I, II & III BDS students in the subjects of Oral pathology & Dental Anatomy/Histology. This section has carving hall, museum & teaching aids like LCD projectors over head projectors teeth models & microscopes.

Clinical Section:

This section consist of the laboratory wgich performs various investigations for Histopathology diagnosis & Hematologic investigations for like Blood count, Clotting test, Haemoglobin test, HIV test & Forensic investigation. It is well equipped with instrument like Automated tissue processor, incubator, centrifuge & research microscope.
